What the Warrego Team has been up to since the start of the year...

Warrego William accepting ribbons at Clifton Show
What a start to the year we've had! First up we were at the Australia Day Showjumping at Toowoomba where we took a full truck of horses including the Warrego show team, three Warrego babies, and a number of client and student horses.
We had some really solid rounds from Warrego (W) Simone, W Africa and W William to start the year off. Including Simone winning her 1.20m Championship class with a very clean and speedy jump off!
There were some excellent confidence building rounds from the Warrego babies: Moose and Hostess in the 60cm and 80cm classes. And our beautiful young colt by W William, W Jerusalem (affectionately known as Jesus), was cute as a button experiencing his very first show.

Next up we took a full truck of horses to Stanthorpe, Allora and Clifton Shows on back-to-back weekends. The perfect way to well and truly get the team (and their riders) back into the swing of competition. Results from the past few weekends include:
Stanthorpe Show
Warrego Hostess 70cm 1st
Allora Show
Warrego Simone 1.20m 1st
Clifton Show
Warrego Simone - 1.20m - 1st
Warrego Simone - 6 Bar - 1st
Warrego William - 1.20m - 2nd
Warrego William - 6 Bar - 2nd
Milly & Billy - 1m - 1st
Robert has been making regular trips to Brisbane, Samford, Burpengary and the Sunshine Coast spending up to three days a week away from the Warrego base teaching and delivering hay. The rest of the week is spent working hard to keep the show team in work, developing our sale horses, working client horses and managing the property!
